Gavin Hamilton

Gavin Hamilton is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the construction and manufacturing sectors. Currently, Gavin serves on the Board of Governors at West Lothian College since March 2023. Gavin has held multiple leadership roles at Taylor Wimpey plc since January 2018, including Managing Director and Special Projects Director. Prior to this, Gavin served as Manufacturing Director at Stewart Milne Timber Systems Limited from October 2014 to December 2017, and held the position of Production Director at Havelock Europa from March 2009 to September 2014, as well as at Highland Metals Limited from October 2005 to February 2009. Gavin began a career in management as Mill Manager at Tullis Russell Papermakers Ltd. from January 1999 to September 2005. Gavin's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, a Postgraduate Diploma from Robert Gordon University, a BSc (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen, and an SVQ4 in Business Improvement Techniques from Fife College.
