Robert Sharpe

Robert Sharpe is a seasoned civil engineering professional with extensive experience in project management across various sectors. Currently serving as Project Manager at Taylors Contracting since August 2023, Robert is involved in the Riverlinks Project aimed at transforming Lower Hutt. Previously, Robert held the position of General Manager at RB Civil Ltd from September 2022 to August 2023, overseeing civil earthworks in the Greater Wellington Region. Notable past roles include Senior Project Manager at Downer New Zealand, where responsibilities included managing significant safety improvements and airport runway extensions, as well as a history of project management and leadership roles at HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan, Balfour Beatty Rail, and Costain. Robert holds a New Zealand Certificate in Engineering from CIT and a foundational education from Dargaville High School.
