Katja Dommers

Katja Dommers has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance and consulting industry. Katja began their career in 1999 as a Controller for Reporting & Planning at Mercedes-Benz Finance Japan. Katja then moved on to various roles at Daimler Financial Services, including Strategic Analyst, Manager Corporate Controlling, Controller Fleet Management, and finally Corporate Controller.

In 2008, they joined Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Korea as the CFO, a role they held until 2012. Katja then took a maternity leave for a year before joining AVANTALION Consulting Asia Pte Ltd as a Finance Specialist from 2013 to 2017.

From 2017 to 2022, Katja worked at Taylor's Education Group, first as the Group Chief Financial Officer and then as a Project Director. Since 2023, they have been employed as the Head of Finance & Controlling at Avantalion Management Consulting.

Katja Dommers' education history begins in 1993 when they attended the University of Münster, where they pursued a Prediploma in Economics. Katja continued their education at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 1995 to 1999, earning a degree in Diplom-Ökonomin. During their time at the University of Duisburg-Essen, they also spent a year at Dokkyo University, studying Japanese. In 2013, Katja attended the CFA Institute for a brief period, where they obtained a CFA Level I certification in Financial Analysis.
