Ashley Widom

Ashley Widom is currently a staff accountant at Taylor. Ashley previously worked as a staff accountant at Nucleus Marketing Solutions from October 2016 to September 2019. In this role, they were responsible for month end close and analytics for payroll, commission, and bonus preparation and accrual. Ashley also facilitated the trademark & copyright registration of the startup collaborating with the creative department. Additionally, Ashley coordinated with the VP of HR to revise and implement an updated T&E expense policy while leading the transition between the company`s expense management systems from TriNet software to Abacus to reduce costs and integrate better internal controls. Finally, they prepared quarterly T&E actuals and forecasting reports for senior management by department.

Before working at Nucleus Marketing Solutions, Ashley was an accounts payable specialist at American Musical and Dramatic Academy from February 2016 to May 2016. In this role, they processed bills and invoices for the NY and California school using Great Plains software. Ashley also retrieved and processed all deposits. Additionally, Ashley answered inquiries from vendors, suppliers, employees, and students. Finally, they completed adhoc administrative and clerical tasks.

Ashley has also worked as an auctioneer at iBid Events from September 2015 to March 2017.

Ashley Widom received their Bachelor of Science in Finance and Financial Management Services from Adelphi University. Ashley also holds an Advanced Regents Diploma from Valley Stream Central High School. In addition, Ashley has various financial accounting and management certifications from LinkedIn, Cornell University, Linkedin Learning App, and Duolingo. Ashley is also certified in Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP.
