Andy Lorenc has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Andy is currently working as the Vice President of Engineering at Taysha Gene Therapies, where they lead the company's Engineering functions and oversees the development of processes and governance for cross-functional and capital projects.

At Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, they worked as the Product Launch Leader, directed manufacturing, quality, and supply chain activities for the launch of a new Meningitis vaccine, and served as the Manager of TechOps Strategy and Analysis, responsible for strategic planning and long-term capacity planning.

Andy also gained experience at Biolex Therapeutics as a Manufacturing Engineer, providing process engineering support and project management for a phased expansion of a GMP manufacturing facility, and at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Stryker Biotech as a Tech Services Scientist and Process Engineer, respectively.

Throughout their career, Andy has demonstrated expertise in project management, strategic planning, and personnel management. Andy has consistently delivered successful projects and has received recognition for their contributions, including the recipient of the NVD award and Special Merit, ISPE Facility of the Year Awards.

Andy Lorenc obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University. No specific start or end dates were provided for this educational experience.
