Shomari Hogan, MD, currently serves as the Director of Medical Affairs at Taysha Gene Therapies since June 2024. Previously, Shomari held the position of Associate Director of Medical Affairs at Reata Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where oversight of a Medical Science Liaison team and strategic collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders were primary responsibilities. Experience includes successful indication launches for Nurtec ODT at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals, and significant roles in medical science liaison capacities at Collegium Pharmaceutical and Flexion Therapeutics, focusing on brand strategy and product launch preparations. Shomari’s early research experience spans from Cedars-Sinai to Duke University, complemented by medical training at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Educational qualifications include an MD and a BS in Psychology and Chemistry from Duke University.
