Artem Bondar

Artem Bondar has had a diverse range of work experiences. Artem started as a research intern at Parallels in 2012 and went on to work as a software engineer, fixing bugs and implementing features. At Desq Labs., they served as the Chief Technology Officer from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Machine Learning Engineer at FamilyFriend, where they led the development of an in-app voice assistant and worked on natural language understanding. Artem then joined Samsung NEXT in 2019 as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and later became an Engineering Manager, specializing in machine learning. At Voximplant, Artem served as the Head of Artificial Intelligence, where they built and led a machine learning engineering department. Most recently, beginning in 2022, Artem worked at Yandex as an Engineering Manager, responsible for logistic, demand forecast, and supply planning algorithms. Currently, Artem is the Head of NLP at Tinkoff.

Artem Bondar completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) from 2009 to 2013. Artem then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2013 to 2015.
