Steven Parker

Steven Parker has over 20 years of experience in information security and risk management. Their most recent position was as the Chief Information Security Officer at TBC Corporation, where they were responsible for information security, risk, and compliance in a multi-billion dollar multi-cloud environment. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Education Advisory Board, where they led a global security team and implemented measures to protect client data. Steven also held the position of Senior Director of Information Security at The Advisory Board Company/Education Advisory Board, where they developed and monitored a comprehensive information security program. Before that, they served as the Director of Information Security (CISO) at Arise Virtual Solutions Inc., where they revamped and re-organized cybersecurity tools and processes. Steven has also worked at First Citizens Bank, Cisco, INT Technologies, and Mizuho Financial Group, where they held various roles related to information security and risk management.

Steven Parker has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from St. John's University. In 2017 and 2018, they attended Harvard University, where they pursued a degree in Harvard Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age and focused on Applying the Three Lines of Defense Model.
