Vinh Nguyen

Vinh Nguyen has over 30 years of work experience in software engineering. Vinh began their career in 1988 as a Junior Software Engineer at Reynolds Metals Company. Vinh then moved to Medallion Systems Inc. in 1992 as a Software Engineer. In 1993, they joined Synon as a Principal Consultant. From 1998 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at BroadVision. Vinh then moved to Mobile Content Network in 2007 and worked as a Senior Software Engineer. Vinh's role included contributing to the monetization application "Allwords". From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer (Back-end) at Symantec. Vinh then joined Hightail in 2011 and worked as a Senior Software Engineer (Back-end). Vinh's role included developing the next generation of file sharing fabric server. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix. Vinh's role included developing anomaly detection for the Elasticsearch fleet and extending Elasticsearch's functionality. Vinh is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at TBCASoft.

Vinh Nguyen attended the University of Oklahoma from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
