Ange Tapé has held various positions in the engineering field since 2016. In 2016, Tapé was an Engineer Intern at NASA Langley Technology Gateway. In 2018, Tapé was a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Aersys Inc., where they designed, built, and tested a proof-of-concept for an autonomous drone delivery storage unit. That same year, Tapé was an Administrative Assistant at Pitt TRIO Student Support Services, where they tutored groups of undergraduate students in Calculus I, II, III, and IV. From 2019 to 2021, Tapé was a System Engineer at Rutgers School of Engineering, where they led operations and strategic direction of a project to design a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft, directed material testing studies, and designed and developed a tilt motor mechanism for stable flight transition. Tapé is currently a System Engineer at TBT Group, Inc.
Ange Tapé completed a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers School of Engineering from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science in Engineering Science & Physics from Mercer County Community College in 2016. Additionally, they hold certifications of completion in C++ from SoloLearn, Introduction to Deep Learning with OpenCV from LinkedIn, and Unity and Vuforia: Trying on Watches in Augmented Reality from LinkedIn, all obtained in June 2020.
