Lara Chatzkelowitz has extensive work experience in the advertising industry. Lara began their career as an intern at Aqua Agency in 2013. Lara then worked as a Digital Strategist at Base2 Agency from 2014 to 2015. Lara then transitioned to McCann Worldgroup, where they served as a Senior Digital Strategist from 2015 to 2017. Lara continued to advance their career as a Senior Integrated Strategist at TBWA South Africa from 2017 to 2018, and later at M&C Saatchi Abel from 2018 to 2020. Lara then took on the role of Strategy Lead at FCB Africa from 2020 to 2022. Most recently, Lara has worked as a Strategy Director at Ogilvy South Africa from 2022 to the present.
Lara Chatzkelowitz completed a Masters degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Johannesburg from the years 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, in 2013, they obtained an Honours Brand Leadership degree from Vega. Lara's undergraduate education was completed at the University of Johannesburg from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued a BA in Audiovisual Communication with a focus on Film, Communication, and Psychology.
