Sebastian Revell has extensive work experience in the field of strategy and communications. Sebastian started their career at BBC as a Creative in 2009 before moving on to various roles in communications and strategy at Vizeum UK, PHD UK, and ITV. Sebastian worked as a Communications Assistant, Communications Executive, and eventually became a Communications Manager, developing comms and media strategies for brands like Coca Cola, Pernod Ricard, and innocent smoothies. In 2012, they joined PHD UK as a Planning Manager, responsible for comms planning and strategy for brands like Cadbury Dairy Milk and Tassimo. Sebastian then joined Publicis London as a Senior Strategist, where they worked on global brand and digital strategies for Heineken. Sebastian later worked at Saatchi & Saatchi as a Senior Planner, focusing on finding unique insights for brands such as Caltex, Westpac, and St. George Bank. In 2017, they moved to Australia and worked as a Senior Strategist at TBWA\\Australia, developing disruptive business-changing ideas for brands including AFL, FIFA, and Telstra. Sebastian then joined Naked Communications as a Strategy Director, working with partners like Hyundai and Woodford Reserve. In 2019, they became a Mentor at The Trenches and returned to TBWA\\Australia as a Group Strategy Director before being promoted to Head of Strategy in 2023. Sebastian recently joined TBWA\\Media Arts Lab as the Head of Strategy for Australia & New Zealand. Throughout their career, Sebastian has worked with a wide range of brands and has developed innovative strategies to drive business growth.
Sebastian Revell has a User Experience Design degree from Academy Xi and a Change Management degree in Organizational Leadership from the Australian Institute of Management. Sebastian also completed a Masterclass in Marketing from Hyper Island and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/English from the University of Sussex. Additionally, they have certifications in Behavioural Economics from Ogilvy and an IPA Advanced Certificate from the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising.
