Lyle Mathis CLCP has extensive experience in the electric cooperative sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Tri-County Electric Cooperative since October 2014, after holding the position of Vice President of Engineering & Operations. Prior to this, Lyle Mathis worked as a Safety & Loss Control Instructor at the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives from August 2010 to October 2012, and earlier in a supervisory role as Construction Foreman at Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative from February 1998 to August 2010.

Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC) is dedicated to providing members with safe, reliable and affordable electric service. Headquartered in Hooker, Okla., TCEC is a not-for-profit distribution cooperative owned and controlled by its members. The utility serves approximately 12,500 members and about 23,000 meters in the Oklahoma Panhandle, southwestern Kansas, the northern border of the Texas Panhandle and parts of Colorado and New Mexico. Our dedicated staff oversees nearly 5,000 miles of distribution lines. As a cooperative, we are proud to be owned and controlled by those we serve, and we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for all of our member-owners.
