Chris Sun

Chris Sun, P.Eng. is an experienced Process Hydraulics Engineer specializing in engineering and asset integrity, currently employed at South Bow since October 2024 and at TC Energy since August 2011. Chris has a comprehensive background in pipeline hydraulic modeling, pressure control, PLC/HMI implementation, and providing engineering support for liquid operations. With roles ranging from Project Manager for Liquids Field Operations to detailed oversight in regulatory approvals and project execution for oil pipeline facilities, Chris has successfully managed diverse projects, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards while aligning stakeholder interests. Additionally, Chris began a career in engineering with AMEC as a Junior HVAC Engineer and has early experience in field engineering roles with Schlumberger and an internship at Siemens. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, graduated in 2009.
