Darren Hopkins

Darren Hopkins, P.Eng., PMP, has extensive experience in project management and engineering, currently serving as Workstream Lead & Initiative Team Lead at TC Energy since June 2012. In this role, Darren collaborates with stakeholders to implement strategic opportunities, achieving significant measurable results exceeding $35 million in 2023. Previous positions at TC Energy include Senior Technical Advisor, Project Manager, and Field Engineer-in-Training, where Darren focused on relationship building, project development, and delivering sustainable value. Prior experience includes working as a Design Engineer-In-Training at Tenet Medical Engineering, where Darren contributed to product development and quality assurance, and as a Project Controls Summer Student at Suncor Energy, enhancing data transparency and reporting processes. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and is pursuing additional education at the Haskayne School of Business.
