Shahban Aziz

Shahban Aziz serves as the Managing Director of the Textile Centre of Excellence since January 2025, leading training initiatives for the fashion and textile sectors. Concurrently, Shahban holds the position of Director and Trustee at Young Citizens, advocating for civic engagement among youth. Previous roles include Senior Funding Manager at the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education, and Trustee positions at notable organizations such as Eureka! The National Children's Museum. Shahban has extensive experience in student services, having served as Deputy Director of Student Services at Kaplan Open Learning and Group Head of Student Experience and Library Services at BPP University. Educated at The University of Manchester and BPP Law School, Shahban possesses a strong foundation in economics and law, complemented by a history of editorial leadership in legal publications.
