Angie Swanson

Angie Swanson, PT, MPT, earned her Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from the College of St. Scholastica in 1998. With over 23 years of experience, she brings a comprehensive style to TCO. Angie’s approach to patient care begins with a thorough and comprehensive evaluation. She then builds a patient specific plan that focuses on utilizing the patient’s goals as the objective for treatment. Angie is passionate about providing manual therapy and corrective neuromuscular techniques as part of her care. She continues to further her knowledge with intensive courses in these areas each year working towards manual certifications. She enjoys treating all orthopedic diagnoses, with emphasis on spine/SI joint dysfunctions, hip, shoulder, knee and foot/ankle. As a former dancer and athlete, she continues to have special interests these areas and in returning her patients and athletes to their highest potential. Angie also has a special interest in the world of competitive gymnastics, as her children have competed in the both club and high school teams for the past several years. She is excited about her current relationships with TCO and local gymnastics clubs in the area. She gets to work on specific skill advancement for all levels including compulsory, optional and gymnastics that train with the National teams. She enjoys working on injury prevention and likes to spend time within the gym and competitive venues.

In her free time, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, who participate in gymnastics, volleyball, tennis, color guard and the arts. When Angie is not working, you can find her enjoying outdoor activities with her family and dog, traveling, cooking and learning about nutrition and well-being.
