Andy Thompson

Andy Thompson is an experienced operations manager with a strong background in mechanical engineering and ground support equipment maintenance. Currently serving as Operations Manager at TCR since May 2017, Andy also held the role of Workshop Supervisor. Previous positions include Ground Support Equipment Manager at Swissport and Owner/Director at Thompson and Webb Ltd, which focuses on aircraft ground support equipment maintenance and vehicle servicing. Andy has entrepreneurial experience as a co-owner of Airport Fleet Services and has extensive supervisory experience from previous roles at aviance UK and Royal Mail. Educational credentials include various engineering studies from Hackney Technical College and foundational qualifications in metalwork and engineering science from Sir George Monoux High School.
