Dr Mangesh Kulkarni

Dr. Mangesh Kulkarni, MD, serves as the Head of Global Drug Safety at Tata Consultancy Services since April 2016, leading Drug Safety initiatives and managing global pharmacovigilance projects. With extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, Dr. Kulkarni previously held the position of Safety Evaluation and Risk Management Physician for a top global biopharmaceutical company, focusing on clinical development safety strategies. Additional roles include Head of Global Drug Safety Operations at Novartis, where responsibilities encompassed compliance and operational management in pharmacovigilance, and Practice Lead in pharmacovigilance and regulatory submissions at Tata Consultancy Services. Early career experience includes clinical research operations management at Wockhardt Ltd and clinical pharmacology at Vimta Labs, along with serving as a Medical Officer for the Government of Maharashtra. Dr. Kulkarni holds an MBBS and MD from Govt Medical College, Nagpur, and a DBM in Business Management from Mumbai.
