Gian Luca Giurlani

Mr. Giurlani joined TCW in 2016 as Managing Director in the International Marketing Group. His main responsibility is the promotion of TCW mutual funds and strategies in the Institutional and Intermediary space in Continental Europe. He also looks after key Global Accounts. Mr. Giurlani is responsible for the TCW UCITS platform in Europe. For the prior eight years, Mr. Giurlani was an executive vice president on the EMEA global wealth management team at PIMCO where he was the head of PIMCO’s distribution and insurance business development. He also focused on developing key business partnerships in Europe. Prior to joining PIMCO, he was a managing director and global head of sales and distribution at Crosby Forsyth. He has also worked at Janus Capital Group where he was responsible for the development and sales of their funds. He has more than 20 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree from Università degli Studi di Pisa where he later taught and lectured in the finance MBA and PhD programs.
