Javier Orrantia

Javier Orrantia is a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in supporting API development teams, automating deployments, and migrating code to cloud environments. Currently at TD since October 2021, Javier has contributed to migrating API code from JBoss to Spring Boot, and from on-premise setups to Azure cloud and Digital-AI based pipelines. Prior experience includes roles at CGI, where Javier maintained DevOps infrastructure, and Scotiabank, where as a Solutions Architect/DevOps, significant software solutions were delivered with projects exceeding 1M dollars. Javier's background includes positions at Algorithmics, Cascades Boxboard Inc., and IBM Sweden, showcasing a comprehensive career in software development, integration, and systems programming. Javier holds an MSc in Administration of Information Technologies and a BSc in Electronic Systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
