Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in leadership and sales within the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Insurance Advice & Sales at TD Insurance since September 2018, Michael leads the Life and Health Advice Centre, overseeing 200+ employees and driving performance metrics across multiple businesses. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Vice President, Sales at Qualified Financial Services, where responsibilities included advising on sales strategies and coaching Business Development Managers. Michael’s earlier tenure at RBC Insurance spanned over 13 years, culminating in the role of Regional Vice President, Ontario, where advisory support and sales coaching were key focuses. Michael’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
