James Rossiter has a diverse background in the field of economics, with extensive experience in macroeconomic strategy and research. James is currently the Head of Global Macro Strategy and Chief European Macro Strategist at TD Securities, where they lead the Global Macro Strategy team and provides analysis on global and European macroeconomic trends. Prior to this, James served as a Senior Global Strategist at TD Securities from 2015 to 2019.

James also has experience working at central banks, including the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England. James was a Manager at the Bank of Canada from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on research and analysis. Before that, they were a Principal Researcher at the Bank of Canada, overseeing conjunctural analysis and forecasting of the US economy.

James spent two years on secondment at the Bank of England as a Senior Economist from 2012 to 2013. During this time, they played a key role in assembling the UK forecast and presenting it to the Monetary Policy Committee.

Additionally, James briefly worked as an Economist at the European Central Bank in 2009.

Overall, James Rossiter has a wealth of experience in macroeconomic strategy, forecasting, and analysis, gained from their various roles in banking and central banks.

James Rossiter obtained their Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics from the University of Alberta in 2001. James later pursued a Masters degree in Economics at the University of Toronto, completing it in 2002.
