Sattra Sowanit

Sattra Sowanit has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sattra started their career in 2003 as a Software Specialist at Smart Office. Sattra then worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Seagate Technology from 2005 to 2006. After that, they worked as a Java Software Engineer at PWS Consulting in 2006 and as a Java Analyst Programmer at DST Worldwide Services (Thailand) from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they joined IBM Solution Delivery (Thailand) as a Java Technical Lead. Sattra then worked at Amadeus IT Group as a Java Team Lead from 2010 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Allianz Technology as a Development Manager, overseeing various technical projects. In 2017, they joined Pantavanij as a Development Manager, responsible for managing and mentoring engineering scrum teams.

In 2018, Sattra joined Agoda as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining backend image service APIs. Sattra also worked at TD Tawandang Co., Ltd., where they held various roles, including Platform Architect, Head of Engineering, Head of Data, Chief Architect, and currently as Chief Engineer. In these roles, they oversaw engineering activities, defined and governed technology architecture, and managed data strategy.

Throughout their career, Sattra has demonstrated expertise in engineering management, technical leadership, and project delivery. Sattra has consistently worked closely with senior management and executive teams to align engineering goals with business objectives and drive innovation within organizations.

Sattra Sowanit attended King Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabang from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they completed several courses on Coursera, including "Building Resilient Streaming Analytics Systems on GCP," "Fundamental of Quantitative Modeling," "Building Batch Data Pipelines on GCP," "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals," and "Modernizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with GCP." Sattra also completed the "Leadership Fundamentals Programme" offered by Amadeus IT Group in 2015. Furthermore, Sattra Sowanit achieved the "SOA Consultant Certification" from Arcitura Education Inc. in 2013. In the past, they obtained the "Sun Certified Business Component Developer 5.0" certification from Sun Microsystems in 2008, the "Sun Certified Web Component Developer 1.4" certification in 2007, the "Six Sigma" certification from Seagate Technology in 2005, and the "Sun Certified Java Programmer 1.4" certification also from Sun Microsystems in 2005.
