Lauryn Baranowski

Lauryn Baranowski is a seasoned engineer with significant expertise in materials science and energy storage technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at TDA Research since July 2020, Lauryn has previously held pivotal roles, including Battery Engineer III at Staq Energy, where work focused on large-scale alkaline battery systems, and postdoctoral positions at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in battery anodes and solid-state electrolytes, respectively. Lauryn's research background includes the development of photovoltaic materials as a Graduate Research Assistant, with a Ph.D. from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Harvey Mudd College. Additional experience includes mentoring students and optimizing synthesis processes for various applications, reflecting a strong commitment to innovation and education in the field.
