William Omalley

William OMalley is an accomplished Information Security professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Information Security at TE Connectivity since November 2012, OMalley is responsible for the program's vision, design, and implementation, focusing on data protection and accountability. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Information Security at K&L Gates, where OMalley built an extensive security program encompassing governance, risk management, compliance, and incident response. Additionally, OMalley served as the Assistant Director of Information Security at Carnegie Mellon University, contributing to the management and oversight of the Information Security Office. Earlier roles include Systems Architect at Freemarkets Inc and Senior Systems Administrator at USX Corporation. OMalley holds a degree from the University of Pittsburgh, earned between 1988 and 1992.
