Chief Impact Officer at TEACH FIRST

Amy Mitchell has extensive work experience in the education sector. Amy started their career at Teach First in 2007 as a Senior Leadership Development Officer and later became the Head of Curriculum Design, where they worked until 2019. In 2010, they briefly worked at KPMG Australia as a Recruitment & L&D Officer. Amy then returned to Teach First in 2019 and took on roles such as Head of Insights and Digital Learning and Director of Programme Innovation and Insights. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Impact Officer at Teach First. In addition to their work at Teach First, Amy also served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Learning with Parents from 2019 to 2022.

Amy Mitchell completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Joint Honours Physics & Philosophy from the University of Nottingham in 2004. Amy then pursued a Master of Teaching degree in Education from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, graduating in 2010. In 2013, Amy attended Cass Business School for the Emerging Leaders program, focusing on Leadership and Management. Amy recently obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Aston Business School in 2022. Amy is also currently pursuing a Chartered Fellow designation from the Chartered Management Institute.
