Catherine Bailey

Catherine Bailey is an experienced educator currently teaching at IDEA Public Schools since August 2022 and involved in teacher training with Teach For America since May 2022. Catherine has a background in grant writing, having served as a Grant Writing Coordinator for AmeriCorps VISTA from September 2021 to July 2022 and as a Grant Writing Assistant for Kansas City Public Schools from June 2019 to June 2021. In addition, Catherine is an inspirational blogger for Hear My Voice-Blog since March 2012, focusing on personal topics to support others with similar experiences. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in English-Creative Writing, with a minor in Writing and Spanish, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completed between 2018 and 2021.
