Emma Jewell

Emma Jewell is a dedicated Special Education Teacher for Moderate Needs at El Paso 2 Harrison School District, managing a caseload of 15-20 students in grades K-5 while collaborating with teachers and service providers to address academic and behavioral needs. As a Corps Member with Teach For America, Emma advocates for educational equity. Noteworthy contributions include receiving a DonorsChoose Award for funding adaptive classroom resources, participating in the Educating Children of Color Summit aimed at empowering marginalized youth, and engaging in research on women's reproductive rights as an ICRU Research Fellow at the University of Iowa.
