Jeffrey Takiue

Jeffrey Takiue is an experienced education leader and leadership coach currently serving as Director of Educator Leadership and Director of Alumni Talent and Leadership at Teach For America since October 2022. As a Leadership Coach, Trainer, and Speaker at Empower Consulting LLC since April 2019, Jeffrey Takiue has coached over 100 clients in leadership development, employing strategies from renowned experts. Previous roles include Philanthropic Portfolio Manager at a Private Family Foundation, where $2M was managed for non-profit organizations, Elementary School Principal at Holualoa Elementary School overseeing a 540-student body, and Academic Officer at the Hawaii State Department of Education supporting leadership teams serving 10,000 students. Jeffrey Takiue holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
