Jessica Morton's work experience includes various leadership roles in the education and non-profit sectors. Jessica began their career as a Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) from 2010 to 2013. Jessica then joined Teach For America, where they held several positions, including Senior Manager of Professional Recruitment, Associate of Professional Recruitment, and Special Projects in Teacher Leadership Development from 2013 to 2017. Jessica later became the Sr. Director and Head of Talent Acquisition, overseeing national, regional, and executive hiring until 2023. Jessica also worked for Twitter as a Managing Consultant of Global Diversity Activations from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, they had a brief stint as a Talent Partner at Khan Academy in 2021, where they redesigned the talent approach, implemented bias training, and supported executive search efforts. Overall, Jessica Morton has a strong background in talent acquisition, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and education.

Jessica Morton received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Dillard University from 2005 to 2009. Jessica then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Applied Politics from American University from 2010 to 2013.
