Justin R. currently serves as an Advanced Quality Engineer at Yanfeng, effective May 2024, and as a Middle School Science Teacher for Teach For America since July 2023, teaching 8th grade science at Piedmont GLOBAL Academy and 9th grade biology at Pinkston High School. Previously, Justin R. worked as a researcher at Carnegie Mellon University from February 2021 to May 2023, contributing to a Polymer Molecular Dynamic Computer Simulation project in collaboration with the Air Force Research Laboratory. In 2022, Justin R. was a process engineer intern at Texas Instruments, where key contributions included optimizing process specifications and enhancing manufacturing output through machine learning algorithms. Earlier experience includes a pharmacy technician internship at Hackensack University Medical Center and conducting earth science research at Columbia University. Justin R. is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering at the University of Michigan after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Material Science & Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
