Larry Blake

Larry Blake is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in data development engineering and project management. Currently serving as Managing Director of Data Development Engineering at Teach for America since July 2010, Larry Blake began as a consultant before advancing to a Director role in September 2011. As Principal at Larry Blake Consulting, short-term programming assignments in Microsoft Windows and web technologies are undertaken, alongside contributions to the Visual Basic and C# community through blogging and technical writing. Previous roles include Senior Developer at Powers Fasteners, Senior Developer and Project Manager at Precision Valve Corporation, Project Manager at Louis Dreyfus, Director of Application Systems at Thomson Newspapers, and Senior Programmer/Analyst at Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy. Larry Blake holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Vassar College and has completed a Scrum class.
