Mikala Irby

Mikala Irby currently serves as a Recruitment Manager for Teach For America, specializing in analytical and equity-focused recruitment to attract diverse candidates committed to equity and anti-racism in education. Prior experience includes roles as a Corps Member and Recruitment Intern at Teach For America, an Educator at KIPP Texas Public Schools where growth targets for students were established, and a Senior Residential Advisor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Mikala facilitated community development and supervised staff.
