Bill Curtin

Bill Curtin is a seasoned education professional currently serving as the Policy Manager at Teach Plus since July 2019, where leadership of a fellowship consisting of Teacher of the Year Finalists aims to enhance teacher influence in Illinois education policy. Prior experience includes a role as an English Teacher at Carbondale Community High School from August 2015 to June 2019, where Bill also mentored new teachers and contributed to various educational initiatives. Bill’s background includes teaching English at Kankakee School District #111 and serving as a History and Spanish Teacher at Thornton Fractional High School District 215. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Governors State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Illinois State University.
