Samantha Levy

Samantha Levy is an experienced professional in conservation and climate policy, currently serving as Conservation and Climate Policy Manager at American Farmland Trust since June 2017. Samantha's work involves advocacy and coalition building to implement policies that support farmers in carbon sequestration, renewable energy projects, and farmland protection. Previously, Samantha held the position of New York Policy Manager, focusing on farmland protection and climate policy. Additional experience includes roles as a Hudson Valley Outreach Intern for Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand and Farmer’s Market Manager for both GrowNYC and Down to Earth Markets. Samantha's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Food Studies from NYU and participation in the LEAD NY class at Cornell University.
