Kayla Dever

Kayla Dever is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and educational leadership. Currently serving as a 4th/5th Grade ESL Teacher at Everett Public School District since July 2019, Kayla also operates as an Executive Functioning Coach with Beyond BookSmart and has held roles as a Curate Curriculum Fellow and Teaching Policy Fellow with Teach Plus. Prior experience includes teaching as a 5th Grade ELA Teacher at KIPP Academy Lynn and participating in Teach For America. Kayla's early roles involved instructing at the Museum of Science and engaging in educational initiatives internationally. Academic credentials include an Education Specialist degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a Master's degree from Boston University, and a Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University, all emphasizing commitment to curriculum development and student support.
