Melissa Dearborn

Melissa Dearborn is an experienced educator and policy advocate currently serving on the Teach Plus National Teacher Policy Cabinet since January 2025, following a tenure as a Massachusetts Policy Fellow from August 2023 to June 2024. Melissa has contributed to federal education policy as part of a national fellowship for classroom teachers and has deepened knowledge of education policy within Massachusetts. Melissa's educational background includes a Master’s in Education specializing in School Leadership, Technology & Innovation from Harvard Graduate School of Education, along with various degrees and coursework focusing on counseling psychology, school counseling, and working with English Language Learners from institutions such as Brown University, Lesley University, Rivier University, and Salem State University.
