Hilary Dorr

Hilary Dorr has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Hilary began their career as an Embroidery Artist and Teacher at HLeslie Design, where they designed and sold embroidery patterns for beginner and intermediate artists. Her designs have been featured in two international magazines and Etsy's Picks. Hilary also planned, filmed, and edited social media photos and videos. In 2015, they worked as an English Teacher at Ontario English, a Pet Care Attendant/Nurse Assistant at Willamette Veterinary Hospital, and a Language and Culture Assistant at CEIP Cantos Altos/CIEE Teach in Spain. In 2016, they worked as a Small Piece Assembly at Garmin. From 2017 to 2018, they were an ESL Teacher at VIPKID. In 2018, they were a Senior Coordinator Teach in Spain, a Teach in Spain Coordinator, and an Enrollment Specialist F1 Temp at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange. In 2021, they were a Marketing Coordinator at Little Dog Coffee Shop/Little Dog by the Met, where they crafted marketing strategies and presented them to owners for implementation, created graphics and videos for social platforms, and managed website updates and design. Hilary is currently a Content Marketer at Teach Starter.

Hilary Dorr obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish Language from Elon University between 2010 and 2014. In 2013 and 2014, they attended CIEE Seville, Liberal Arts and Universidad de Sevilla, respectively, where they studied Lenguajes Audiovisuales, Traducción. In 2016 and 2018, they completed a Translation Certificate from UC San Diego Extended Studies. In 2008, they were awarded the Girl Scout Gold Award from Girl Scouts of the USA.
