Michelle John M.A.T. has a diverse range of work experience in various educational and retail settings. Michelle started their career as a Spanish Teacher at Gwinnett County Public Schools in 2017. In 2019, they became a Course Designer at Teachable. Prior to that, they worked as a Spanish Teacher at Duval County Public Schools from 2015 to 2017. Michelle was also a Corps Member at Teach For America during the same period. Before entering the education field, Michelle gained experience as a Retail Managing Intern at American Girl in 2014. Michelle also served as a Residential Adviser at Bucknell University from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for creating a positive living environment and organizing educational and social programs. Additionally, Michelle has held positions as a Teaching Intern at Match Education in 2013 and an Intern at The Posse Foundation in 2012.

Michelle John completed their Master of Arts in Teaching- MAT with a specialization in Foreign Language Teacher Education at Valdosta State University from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish Language and Culture from Universidad de Granada in 2016-2017. Michelle also holds a Markets Innovation and Design Major from Bucknell University, with a minor in Spanish, from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, they participated in a Study Abroad program at Universidad de Granada, focusing on Spanish. Additionally, Michelle has obtained several certifications, including Content Marketing: Slides, Content Marketing: Staying Relevant, Learning Content Marketing, Learning Cultural Strategy for Design, Storytelling for Advertising Campaigns from Lynda.com in July 2018. Michelle also achieved the Google Certified Educator certification from Google in March 2019.
