James Chesnutt

Dr. James Chesnutt is Medical Director of the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Concussion Program. Board-certified in Sports Medicine, Dr. Chesnutt is Associate Professor of Family Medicine, Neurology, and Orthopedics & Rehabilitation and works with the Rebound Clinic as Team Physician for the Portland Trail Blazers. He is active in concussion research, legislation and education, serves as Co-Director of the Oregon Concussion Awareness and Management Program (OCAMP), is on the Oregon Governor’s TBI Task Force and advises the Oregon School Activities Association. A graduate of Stanford University, Dr. Chesnutt currently partners with Stanford on several academic and educational concussion projects.
