Jason Borrelli

Jason Borrelli moved to American University after serving 13 seasons as head wrestling coach for Stanford University. In this role, he coached 26 wrestlers to the NCAA Championships, and in 2021, Shane Griffith earned Stanford’s most recent NCAA national title. A Stanford program record was set in 2016-17 with nine wrestlers qualifying for NCAA. Borrelli holds the Stanford program’s all-time coaching career wins. Furthermore, Borrelli ensures that achievement extends beyond athletics, as his wrestlers have placed in the top 16 GPA standings among all Division 1 programs since 2009.
