Paul Goldstein hails from Rockville, Maryland. Goldstein began his career ranking among the top 10 junior players in the world and became the 1st player to win three consecutive national junior championships. He then helped lead Stanford to four straight NCAA team championships and was named Pac-10 Player of the Year in 1998. As a professional athlete, Goldstein was the highest ranked player in the world with a college degree for most of his career. During his tenure as Director of Men’s Tennis at Stanford, he has led the men’s team to an average of 19 wins per season, strengthening the renown of Stanford tennis.
