Teacher's Discovery
Stephen Becker has worked as an Art Director at Teacher's Discovery since 2017, where they are responsible for catalog design, product photography, retouching, and composition. Stephen also handles product development, online marketing graphics, website photography and graphics support, video creation and editing, and audio editing. Prior to this, they owned their own graphic design business called SJB Graphics starting in 2015. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Art Director at PCT Brands, where they focused on package design, user guides, photography, and promotional materials. Between 1999 and 2016, Stephen worked as an Art Director at King Par LLC, managing product design, marketing materials, corporate imaging, and community outreach programs. Stephen also worked as a Graphic Designer at Tapco International from 1998 to 1999, and as an Art Director at Forecast International from 1987 to 1998. Additionally, Stephen worked as an Assistant Art Director at C&H Advertising in 1985, and as a Frame Creation Manager for Videolog Communications from 1984 to 1985. Stephen started their career as an Art Director at Letergraphics in 1979, where they developed an in-house art department and worked with clients such as Ford, GM, and Chrysler.
Stephen Becker attended Avondale High School, where they completed the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at the Center for Creative Studies from 1977 to 1981, specializing in Graphic Design. In 1981, they briefly attended Wayne State University to fulfill Academic Requirements.
