Michael J. Masse is the current Director at Teachers Federal Credit Union. Michael has also served as the Chairperson of Board of Trustees for the Public Policy Institute of New York from May 2015 to December 2019. From 2010 to 2019, they were a Board Member/Trustee for the NYS Teachers' Retirement System. In this role, they were also a part of the Executive Committee and Chair of Audit and Risk Management. Prior to their current positions, they served as US Head of Government and Institutional Banking, Senior Vice President at HSBC from December 2005 to December 2019.
Masse has dedicated their career to helping others through public policy and banking. Michael is a strong advocate for education and has worked tirelessly to improve the retirement system for teachers in New York State. Michael J. Masse has earned a Master's in Public Administration from Syracuse University, an MBA in Finance and Business Administration from Rider University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology. Michael is also certified as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS) from ACAMS and as a Series 7 & 63 from FINRA.
