Maurice M.

Maurice M. has extensive work experience in software development and technology roles. Maurice started their career in 2006 at PropertyInfo Corporation, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and Supervisor. During their time there, they implemented Microsoft Bing Map into a property search web application and redesigned the entire application using object-oriented, multi-layer design.

In 2008, Maurice joined J. Ray McDermott as an Application Architect, where they worked until 2009. Maurice then joined CenterPoint Energy as an IT Programmer Analyst Consultant, contributing to the development of web applications for residential and commercial gas consumers.

Maurice continued their career at RealEC Technologies and Stewart Lender Services before joining PropertyInfo Corporation again in 2011 as a Senior Software Developer. In this role, they addressed cross-site scripting vulnerabilities in a revenue-generating web application and designed a security remediation tracking web application.

In 2012, Maurice worked at Hartigen as a Web Developer, focusing on real-time notifications and interface views for an energy trading web application. Maurice later joined Direct Energy as a Senior Analyst, where they developed desktop tools for energy traders and implemented modifications to a critical desktop application for gas energy trading.

From 2013 to 2017, Maurice worked at Gurwitch Products as a Senior Enterprise Architect. Maurice successfully designed and implemented a merchandise return system that recovered significant revenue for the company.

Most recently, Maurice joined Teachers of Tomorrow in 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer and was later promoted to the role of Principal Software Developer in February 2022.

Maurice M. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University-Sacramento, completing their education between 1986 and 1995.
