Gilles RASIGADE

Gilles Rasigade has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gilles is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Teale since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Kapten (ex-Chauffeur Privé) from 2015 to 2021, where they held the positions of CTO, Software Development Director, and Technical Team Lead. At Kapten, Gilles was responsible for defining the tech vision and culture, making the platform international and scalable, and providing highly performant software solutions.

Before their time at Kapten, Gilles worked at FASTBOOKING from 2014 to 2015 as a Software Development Director, where they led the strategy and development of the Fastbooking Booking Engine. Gilles also initiated DevOps practices and implemented automation processes for QA and release management.

From 2012 to 2013, Gilles served as a Software Engineer at FASTBOOKING, leading several projects and working on APIs, domain models, and unit testing. Prior to that, they co-founded Initiative Nano in 2011 and worked as the President, leading the development of a full HTML5 application CAD tool.

Gilles has also worked as a Post-Doc at Université Paris-Sud - IEF in 2011, focusing on opto-electronics modulators, and as a PhD student at Institut d'Electronique Fondamentale from 2007 to 2011, researching high-speed Silicon on Insulator optical modulation. Gilles also completed an internship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2007, where they worked on the fabrication process of a fully flexible optical modulator.
