Kelly M.

Kelly M. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kelly'smost recent position is as the Head of Product Design at Teal Health, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Retirable as the Product Design Lead, where they led and managed two product lines from ideation to launch. Kelly also instituted product processes and a design system used at scale. Kelly joined Retirable in March 2022 and left in December 2022.

Before Retirable, Kelly held roles at Decent, where they served as the Product Management & UX Design Lead, owning all product, UX/UI design, and research. Kelly also led two website redesigns and developed a ground-up product management strategy. Kelly was with Decent from May 2021 to March 2022. At the same company, they were also a User Experience Designer from June 2020 to May 2021, where they owned product design, user research, and implemented design systems.

Kelly worked as a Product Strategy & Design Consultant at thoughtbot from March 2019 to February 2020. In this role, they managed projects, maintained client relationships, and led product squads. Kelly also acted as a design IC in sales meetings and facilitated Product Design Sprints.

Prior to thoughtbot, Kelly was the UI/UX Manager at Richline Digital from December 2017 to March 2019. Kelly managed product design and front-end product management, led a design team, and handled brand launches, CMS migrations, and stakeholder management.

Kelly's career began at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they served as the User Research, Content and Communications Manager in the Office of Digital Learning from October 2016 to September 2017. Kelly led customer development, conducted user research, and developed the user community.

Before MIT, Kelly worked at Selventa as a Web Designer/Developer from March 2015 to July 2016, and as an Office Manager & Assistant Project Manager from August 2014 to March 2015. Kelly was responsible for website design and development and assisted with project management.

Kelly started their professional journey as an Administrative Assistant at HIG Capital from April 2012 to August 2014. Kelly provided administrative support to the team.

Kelly also worked as a Project Manager at MRY from September 2010 to March 2012, where they managed projects.

Kelly M. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Studio Art from UMass Boston.
