Steve Santorelli

Steve Santorelli is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as Chief of Staff and holding various leadership roles including Director of Intelligence and Outreach and Director of Global Outreach at Team Cymru since 2007. Previously, Steve was the Director of Investigations at Microsoft from 2004 to 2007, where the focus was on leading the Botnet Task Force and investigating malware and botnet threats. Steve's career in law enforcement spanned a decade at the Metropolitan Police from 1994 to 2004, culminating in the position of Detective Sergeant within the Computer Crime Unit at Scotland Yard, specializing in criminal hacking. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Space Science from the University of Southampton, earned between 1991 and 1994.
