Annamarie Phelps

Vice Chair at Team GB

Annamarie was appointed Vice Chair of the British Olympic Association (BOA) in February 2017. She represented Great Britain in the Women's Eight at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games. She is a former member of the BOA Athletes' Commission (1994-98) and was World Champion in Lightweight Women's Fours in 1993. A Decorative Arts Consultant by profession, Annamarie is a Non-Executive Director of The Fine Art Society Plc, as well as having been Chair of British Rowing (2014-18) and a Board Member of the British Paralympic Association. Annamarie continues to support the international rowing scene, including through her role as Commonwealth liaison for the World Rowing Federation, FISA, and as a member of the European Rowing Management Board.
